Poverty Reflection

What do you think when you here the word poverty. I think people living without food or shelter or pretty much any thing. Where do you think poverty is? If you only think it is only in the “other” countries (Africa) well not really it is all over the world including Canada or America. You can barley tell there are people out there because some people are hidden away and some people don’t look poor. People who bought too much stuff and lost all there money they couldn’t get it back.

How many people die from hunger each day you ask? Every day, almost 16000 children die from hunger-related causes, which is one child every five seconds. Why dose this happen you ask? No one wants to help, learn, make a difference do you want to do that.

When you want to help people you just think of “oh ill go to a soup kitchen and serve some food. It helps people but if you want to make a huge difference than “GO MAKE A CHANGE”.

  2. This is a good first post Keegan. Your choice to conclude with a calling your readers to action is a good one, and often a very effective writing strategy. You have some good ideas and thoughtful insight, try and explain these even more in your next posts. Well done.
